My 1st CX race on my CX bike in Charlottesville :) I had the chance to meet & race along side my favorite Pro racer Mandy Lozano. "Great race, Mandy, it was so good to meet you :)"Racing with the A women & Juniors helped out alot -- I picked up some tips on racing through the 10 in. sand pit and going down steep decents. I also got my leg stuck between my tire & bike (ouch) and lost my chain twice & even went the wrong way. But that's how you learn. Overall, it was sooooo much fun. My race went for 50 minutes = 5 laps, my lungs were shot. It felt great. Tim & Jon raced good, they were dead from the previous day in Louisa. I even ran into Albe form All About Bikes. Hope to see everyone next weekend's race.
